At long last, Delano finally offers a pickup in the new “standard” P2 shape for 5-string bass guitars. I received a pair of these yesterday, and my initial impression is VERY good. In a word, wow. More details coming soon. These are replacing a pair of Bartolini “classic bass” dual coil soapbars (model P25CBC) in a fretless Warmoth Gecko 5-string bass (of course!) and they sound much more clear and detailed. Less tonal coloration, more sweetness. I feel closer to the strings.
